　When my husband and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary at our forite restaurant, Lenny, the piano player, asked, "How did you do it?"

　I knew there was no simple answer, but as the weekend roached, I wondered if one reason might be our ritual of breakfast in bed every Saturday and Sunday.

　It all started with the breakfast tray my mother ge us as a wedding gift. It had a glass top and slatted wooden side pockets for the morning paper the kind you used to see in the movies. Mother loved her movies, and although she rarely had breakfast in bed, she held high hopes for her daughter. My adoring bridegroom took the message to heart.

　Feeling guilty, I suggested we take turns. Despite grumblings -- "hate crumbs in my bed" ---Sunday morning found my spouse eagerly awaiting his tray. Soon these weekend breakfasts became such a part of our lives that I never even thought about them. I only knew we treasured this separate, blissful time read, relax, forget the things we should remember.

　Sifting through the years, I recalled how our weekends changed, but that we still preserved the ritual. We started our family (as new parents, we slept after breakfast more than we read), but we always found our way back to where we started, just two for breakfast, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

　When we had more time, my tray became more festive. First it was fruit slices placed in geometric pattern; then came flowers from our garden .This arranger of mine had developed a flair for decorating, using everything from amaryllis to the buds of a maple tree. My husband said my cooking inspired him. Mother would he roved. Perhaps it was the Saturday when the big strawberry wore a daisy hat that I began to think, how can I top this? One dark winter night I woke with a vision of a snowman on a tray. That Sunday I scooped a handful of snow and in no time had my man made. With a flourish I put a miniature pinecone on his head.

　As I delivered the tray, complete with a nicely frozen snowman, I waited for a reaction. There was none but as I headed down the stairs I heard a whoop of laughter and then, "You've won! Yes, sir, you've won the prize!"

Only a small portion of my brain do I employ; only a paltry amount of my muscles do I flex. A hundredfold or more can I increase my accomplishments of yesterday and this I will do, beginning today.

　Nevermore will I be satisfied with yesterday's accomplishments nor will I indulge, anymore, in self-praise for deeds which in reality are too small to even acknowledge. I can accomplish far more than I he, and I will, for why should the miracle which produced me end with my birth? Why can I not extend that miracle to my deeds of today?

　I am not on this earth by chance. I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to grow into a mountain, not to shrink to a grain of sand. Henceforth will I ly all my efforts to become the highest mountain of all and I will strain my potential until it cries for mercy.

　I will increase my knowledge of mankind, myself, and the goods I sell, thus my sales will multiply. I will practice, and improve, and polish the words I utter to sell my goods, for this is the foundation on which I will build my career and never will I forget that many he attained great wealth and success with only one sales talk, delivered with excellence. 可是这一天，它变了模样。红白石砖覆盖着原先赤裸的土壤，温和地压抑着，这土壤便不再有漫天黄沙的冲动，红白的色彩点缀着以往单调的景色，让沉默的街道有了幽默的情调。我踏上这条道，与大地心肉相连。葱茏的绿色也代替了以往的荒芜，尽管没有春天吐芽的初生绿意，也没有夏季丰茂的盎然战意，但它们直挺挺地伫立，兢兢业业地环绕着土地，让人踏实。我倚在一棵树旁，感觉到未来有了一点不一样，漫漫长路，沿途是否最终有了这亮丽的风景。

这条路是一道风景，她们——那些千千万万的劳动者更是风景。她们就像春季，大地回暖，生机勃发，一切生与期望整装待发：就像夏季，朴实厚重：就像秋，情意绵绵，硕果含羞：还有冬，傲骨铮铮。

3.让世界充满爱

忽然，一个同样坐在走廊的老奶奶企图要站起来去厕所，却无法拎起自己的输液瓶。我见了刚想起身去帮助老奶奶，却发现那个黑瘦的女人一手抱着孩子，一手拎着两个输液瓶就带着老奶奶去厕所了。我看着老奶奶的身旁那几个陪同病人却两手空空的人愣住了，他们“事不关已，高高挂起”的态度让我没由来的感到心寒，他们身旁悬挂的“让世界充满爱”的公益广告让我觉得无比刺眼。

不一会儿，女人依旧用她那干瘦的身躯支撑着一个孩子和两个输液瓶走了进来，依旧是逆着光，可我却仿佛从她那干瘦的躯壳后看见了高大的灵魂。

（一）存在的问题

1.部分选手对一些常见的字音字调读的不准，如村、耕耘、天等字。

2.语气语调轻重缓急，抑扬顿挫把握不够，把作品的韵律美没有很好地表现出来。

3.表情不太丰富，表现力欠缺，把作品蕴含的感情美没有有力地表现出来。

4.一些名篇作品诵读过于平淡，无朝气，不够，改变了文章原有的面貌。

5.有几个选手在选材时没有把握好，背离了本次活动的主题。

（二）建议

1.在选材上，选取适合诵读的、紧扣主题的、震撼观众内心的经典美文。

2.情感在语言诵读中是第一位的，是灵魂，诵读只是形式，因此我们要在以后诵读中重点把握文章的感情。

3.我们的学生大部分来自农村，因为条件限制，语音存在一定缺陷；部分学生对于朗读的自信心尚未充分培养出来，表现为整体的不协调性。

对本次活动，我校非常重视，提前拟定方案，做好准备，经过老师们的精心指导，学生们的认真准备，“刘庄小学师生美文诵读比赛”终于取得了圆满成功。当天下午，同学们声情并茂的朗读引起了一阵又一阵的掌声！现对我校开展本次美文诵读比赛活动总结如下：

全员参与，发动面广。这次活动，以自然班为单位，参与，起到了全面提高学生阅读兴趣和朗读水平的作用，为学校营造了浓浓的书香氛围。学校领导及时布置，认真筹划，各语文教师在认真研究、认真筛选的基础上，均制定各班的诵读内容，既有我国传统的古典诗词，也有近现代的优美散文；既有赞叹祖国壮丽山河的，也有说明哲理的。总之，内容丰富多彩。

师生同台献艺，共同进步。美文诵读比赛中，各位老师精神饱满，朗读时抑扬顿挫、声情并茂，各有特色：许兴君老师娓娓道来；肖太亮、曲付霞老师慷慨激昂，豪情四溢；孙秀华、李正燕老师柔情似水，她们那丰富的表情和优美的语言，让在座所有教师徜徉在美文的诵读中。教师们既注重美文诵读方法和技巧的把握，也能很好把握文本的内涵，为全校教师起到了良好的示范作用。

但是，我们毕竟是农村小学，因为条件限制，语音存在一定缺陷；其次部分孩子对于朗读的自信心尚未充分培养出来，表现为整体的不协调性。此外，老师的音调，音准，朗诵的水平还有待提高。

我们相信通过这次比赛，会让我校更多的师生喜欢上美文诵读，美文诵读也会带给我们更多的喜悦，并希望每一位教师能够把美文诵读拓宽到课堂教学之中，引发我们更多的学生参与其中，感受美文诵读的乐趣。

美文诵读活动总结通用（篇5）

自开展“经典诵读”活动以来，我校师生积极踊跃，开展得如火如荼。

学校领导高度重视，为使这一活动进行得扎实有效、做到持之以恒，学校以“严教师、宽学生”为基本要求，即教师必须高度重视、严格执行；对于学生，则分层次、分阶段，不增加课业负担为原则。

每周的业务学习时间，学校组织全体教师认真学习，讨论分析学生目前学习和课外阅读的现状，使广大老师充分认识到开展此项活动的重要性和必要性。把活动与学校各项工作紧密结合起来，做到有、有布置、有检查、有落实、有总结。

每天，班主任利用晨读前10分钟、课间以及校本课时间，组织学生诵读，学生全员参与。充分利用零碎闲暇，寻找机会让学生多接触优秀诗文，多读多背多用，使优秀诗文诵背和阅读课外书籍活动成为课外生活的一件乐事。

我们在理解、推动经典诵读在学校中开展时，十分注意将之与我校的办学理念——“促进学生主动健康发展”进行融合统一。我们把诵读做成一个快乐的过程。努力创设“愉悦的诵读氛围”，以活泼轻松的方式，激发学生对读经的热爱，令“我要读经”成为学生的热望，让他们找到一条脚踏五千年智慧文明，启动传统、继往开来的自我发展之路。

2、精心营造校园文化

我们用心突出经典文化的主题，让校园环境处处洋溢浓厚的育人氛围。课室里，我们精心设计了各式各样的经典名言，如惜时、友爱、尊师、孝亲等等，让孩子在耳濡目染、潜移默化中得到优秀品德的熏陶走廊上，每一个楼层都设计了不同的传统文化主题：一楼《弟子规》劝言；二楼著名成语出处；三楼成语故事汇萃；学生漫步其中，脍灸人口的名诗佳句渐渐在孩子们心中沉淀，夯实了他们人文的基础。

3、与学科教学融合

4、贯穿教育全过程

为使学生对经典文化的学习更感兴趣，我们用化整为零、零存整取、难点分散、循序渐进的方法进行教学。我们见缝插针地组织诵读，每天早自习、课前准备、校本课，都能听到同学们琅琅的读书声。让学生在没有压力的前提下，自然诵读，从中获得背诵的乐趣和成就感。

在活动实施中，我们坚决反对“一刀切”，参考儿童记忆、思维发展的客观规律，分出三个年龄段段，提出了不同层次的目标要求。

1、低年级——讲孝道

　Some thoughts on building a successful marriage

　From my perspective, once you enter into the realm of marriage, building and maintaining a successful marriage is actually a big part of personal and financial success. A solid marriage not only results in people sharing resources together, but a marriage also provides a lot of emotional support, cheerleading, and encouragement to succeed.

　What follows are twelve little things I do quite regularly in my marriage. Please, use as many of these as seem reasonable.

　I tell my wife I love her every single day. I usually do it in the morning before she lees the bedroom, and on weekdays I'll also tell her when I see her in the evening for the first time. I usually couple(加倍，成双) it with a kiss. It's so simple, but it's a constant reminder of the fact that I do love her, no matter what.

　I ask about her day, listen, and ask follow up questions. I do this not only so I can keep tabs on her professional life, but also to give her a great chance to vent about her situation. Everyone needs to talk about themselves sometimes to someone who is interested - I try to provide that for her as often as I can.

　I try to surprise her on a regular basis. I'll spend an hour preparing a really excellent supper when she doesn't expect it. I'll spontaneously give the kids a bath when she's comfortable on the couch under a blanket, even if it's her turn. Doing these little unexpected things not only shows her I care, but also often compels her to do similar things for me.

　I hold her hand. I do this all the time, whenever it crosses my mind and seems ropriate. I'll just hold her hand gently while we're talking or we're riding in the car or we're waiting for an ointment or we're sitting on the couch in the evenings.

　I talk about EVERYTHING with her and let her determine what's interesting. If something is concerning me, I don't hide it from her. I tell her about it. Most of the time she's interested and we'll discuss it - sometimes she's not and I let it drop . Either way, though, she gets the message that I'm making an effort to share and be open.

　I work on building a positive relationship with her family. Whenever I visit or see anyone in her family, I make a special effort to try to establish or build upon a strong relationship with them. This accomplishes several things: it makes her more at ease in a family situation, it helps me to build stronger ties with people that are important to her, and it helps me to understand the influences that were around her as she grew up.

　I send her messages during the day. About once a week, during a time where my wife is really present in my thoughts, I send her a little simple note by email. All it says is something along the lines of "I was thinking about you just now. I can't wait until I see you this evening." It's just a very simple way of letting her know she's on my mind and in my heart.

　I put careful thought into gifts I give her. Sure, it's easy to just run out and get a generic gift to cover yourself during an anniversary or a birthday. However, a gift with some real thought behind it means substantially more than an obviously off-the-cuff gift.

　I encourage her to follow her passions and interests, even if they don't inspire or interest me. If my wife chooses to spend significant time on a project, it's obviously something that's important to her. That doesn't imply at all that it has to be important to me. If she's involved in her own project, I give her positive encouragement and then work on my own interests instead of saying things like "that seems like a waste of time."

　If she needs me, I willingly contribute to(有助于，贡献) those passions. If something genuinely excites her and she wants me to experience it, I willingly involve myself in whatever it may be: a particular type of art, a craft project, a yard project, whatever. Even if I don't enjoy it, I do he the opportunity to learn more about my wife and what she's passionate about, which means that my understanding of her grows.

　Mark Inglis lost both of his legs below the knees in a mountaineering accident, but has since climbed Mt Everest.

　Bill Wilson was an alcoholic who wanted to help other alcoholics and founded what was to become Alcoholics Anonymous, a movement that has helped millions of people.

　No One Would He Predicted These Successes

　These above are cases involving individuals with significant limitations, and it can be easy to write them off as exceptions to the rule, but that?s not the case. They were just people with problems. If one of these people had told you what they hoped to achieve you would he nodded kindly while quietly thinking to yourself that they had no chance. And yet the results speak for themselves.

　We All Face Challenges in Life

　Most of us will never he to face the kinds of challenges these people faced. Yet most of us will never achieve to the degree that these people he either.
